| Harry S TrumanThe hard-nosed haberdasher spelled his name without a period after the "S" for a very good reason. He did not have a middle name. The "S" is not an initial. It does not stand for anything at all. Even if it did stand for "Steve" or "Sebastian," you would be wrong to put a period after it because good old Harry did not spell his name that way. If your teacher ever marks you off for spelling his name without a period, stick to your guns and say "The buck stops here." Challenge your instructor to find out his middle name. It will be a long and fruitless search. Click here to purchase the Speed Teacher |
